Never had the chance to update this blog site for the past couple of weeks Ü Damn! im sooooo busy gggrrrr! Lucky for me yesterday was declared non-working holiday... had the luxury to rest and be with my big boy Janssen (he turned 7month-old last Thursday).

As a first time mom, i'm kinda fascinated with Janssen's tricks. Aside from the 'close-open' thing (he already mastered this as early as 4 months!), he's starting to giggle with peeckaboo games. Although he still can't pull himself up to a standing position (hehe my baby can't even crawl pa e... late bloomer!), if you stand him next to the sofa, he's now able to maintain the posture, hanging on for his dear life!

Have to work now. I don't want to stay late today.... not again! For the past 3weeks... and up to now..work seems endless for me! Had to start my day before the clock strikes 8! When it rains. . . it pours! big time! Ü

Dakak Adventure

Back to work today. . . was on vacation from sat up to yesterday! Our Dakak trip was finally over! It was an adventure for Joel and I . . . first time visit to the South! Dakak Park and Beach Resort is really worth visiting!

Joel & I managed to checkin early, 2hours before the flight. Using my connections (yahooo! courtesy of Mylene of Ebiz & Ms. Joson, Duty Manager - Domestic), we were able to sneak in the exclusive Mabuhay Lounge at NAIA Centennial2 terminal (lounge exclusive for Elite and Premier Mabuhay Miles members. . . and a no-no to Non-Revenue pax . . . --- hehe kami un!). First time for Joel to experience this distictive frequent flyer privilege Ü We had our breakfast here. . . appetizing arroz caldo, almost everything in the pika-pika table, several pastries & juices etc! And not to forget the taked-out canned Pepsi & 7Up!

We boarded PR167 exactly on time around 9:45AM and the flight departed also on-time around 10:15AM. Almost an hour later, cabin crew announced "We are on our final approach to Dipolog. . ." yahooo! Dakak..here we come! Ü

We were welcomed with Lei in Dipolog Airport (kailangan ba tlaga ng Lei?!). 45-minute travel by Van from Dipolog Airport to Dakak Park and Beach Resort. Upon check-in, welcome drinks were provided by friendly Dakak staffs.

We had our lunch just right after signing up at the reception counter. Port Orient is just perfect! -- an open-air native restaurant facing the sea, serving the Orient's sumptuous specialties as well as continental dishes.

Lechon Kawali and Lengua Estofado - SARAP!

After a scrumptious lunch, we had our way to our standard bungalow room! I was expecting a standard . . . small fan room. . but to my surprise Room2B turned out to be a deluxe type --
equipped with individually controlled air conditioner, colour television, intercom phone, mini bar, shower/bath with hot and cold running water, dressing area and main bedroom yahooo!

Weather was fine for the first 2 days. Beach was calm . . . as if inviting us for a dip! I settled for the pool located a few meters from the beach front. Ganda! Had the chance to practice my floating skills hehehe. Jacuzzi beside the pool is just perfect for me!

to be continued Ü . . .
